Do you ever find yourself with a weak and wounded heart? Well my friend I have many times. Maybe even a little as I write this post. I know for myself I like to be tough and most of the time I am very thick skinned, or at least I try really hard to be.
Me and my husband gave our complete lives to Jesus to do with it as He would like. There will be times of suffering. There will be loneliness. And I do mean loneliness people where you don’t have a friend in your circle at all and the ones you do have are only there to try to get the gossip. Anybody know what I’m talking about?
We have moved our family to serve Him! Left many dear friends and neighbors behind to serve Him. Kids crying at bedtime because they miss so and so. That’s hard folks. It has Never been easy, but it’s worth it. People do you hear me? IT IS WORTH IT!!! He is worth it!!!
In my darkest of times I hold on to His truth. I was reading my devotion and this verse leaped in my heart and brought such comfort. “Let me hear Your lovingkindness in the morning; For I trust in You; Teach me the way in which I should walk; For to You I lift up my soul.” Psalms 143:8 NASB
God lifts my soul everytime I run to Him. He is always there. I pray every morning that I would hear His loving kindness, not just hear it but feel it. Lord I trust in You! No matter where you are in life or how wounded your heart is He is there. Will you trust in Him? I pray that you will.
