Happy 1st Birthday Ella Kate! I probably got a little excited about this birthday. You were my little birthday princess. I went all out on the two layered, hot pink cake and you were scared to death if it. Even just sitting you next to it scared you. You didn’t want anything to do with it. You were interested in all the gifts but wasn’t sure what to do, so you handed everything to me to open. We got you the leapfrog My Pal Violet stuffed doggy and you loved it. You kept your hat on most of the time but finally had enough and took it off. Everyone came out from the church to celebrate you turning one.

When we got home I had a cupcake for you to have your own cake smash. I knew it would get messy so I put you in your high chair without a shirt on. You really enjoyed the smaller version of the cake. You were covered in cake and icing. You went to give sissy a kiss and she loves you so much, she kissed you cake and all. You enjoyed it for a while and then off to the tub which was your favorite. You always loved bath time. You had a great 1st birthday!

You are the sweetest baby girl and full of personality. You are my sunshine. I love you so very much.
