Let me just say…. My hubby is AMAZING!!!! He is the most caring, compassionate, man I have ever known. Not just on Valentines but everyday. He shows me and the girls his love for us. I am thankful for his love for Christ and hard work to provide for our family. I see him wake early to study Gods word, make phone calls or send a text to our members in the church, encourage others then get ready for work, work all day, come home to spend time with me and the girls and then stay up late at night to again…study Gods word.

Me and the girls woke up to our kitchen counter redecorated into a Valentine wonderland this morning. Chocolates, from one end to the other, my favorite flowers (tulips) so I can replant them in my garden, and a special treat Gigi’s Cupcakes. Then took the girls to Build a Bear and then to Joes Crab Shack for dinner. He sure did surprise us girls. We had a special day out with daddy that we don’t get often enough. It was wonderful. At the end of the night Emily said “this is the best day ever.” 16 years and counting…..what a great Godly man we are blessed to have.

Reading over many things this week one question was asked, “What is Love?” I couldn’t help but think of the only answer:

1 John 4:7-8 Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God, and whoever loves has been born of God and knows God. Anyone who does not love does not know God, because God is love.
