I say it every year, but it really is hard to believe Emily is already 20!

This birthday was made special by the planning of her sister, Ella. For weeks Ella had been sending me text of things she wanted to do for Emily.

The theme was blue and everything Emily loved. We started with blue and white balloons and added the number 20 for fun. Then we had blue teacup cookies made and delivered. Stephen and Ella went and picked up Chick-fil-a breakfast and and flowers for her. It was a surprising morning for sure. She wasn’t expecting any of it.

We have a tradition of waking her up with a cup cake and it had always been tradition Molly would join us. This is the first year without Molly and we knew it would be emotional for Emily, shoot for all of us. Milo doesn’t replace Molly, but he sure is a bundle of joy that helped us wake her up this year and he definitely brought the party with his full personality and happiness.

Once getting ready we went to the mall. She got Starbucks, Dippin Dots (her favorite), she shopped for books and just had fun hanging out. Later we went to Hana Hibachi and didn’t want to end the day because it was so fun and special. Happy 20th Birthday Emily, I love you so much. You are my sunshine!
