I can’t believe our little girl is 12 years old! We love celebrating birthday’s.  It is such a celebration of God’s blessing to us.  Emily starts counting down her birthday the day after. We celebrate for the full week because one day is just not enough.

Our day is busy from the moment we wake up.  Our tradition is to decorate the house in balloons and streamers.  We wake up to a cupcake with a single candle singing Happy Birthday.  She had been wanting gymnastics mats so she opened them before heading out.  Emily’s choice was the mall and eat at Joes Crab Shack. We already had scheduled a baseball game with the church that night, so she gets to pick something else today. A fun day. Just for her.

We finally got home from the game around 11PM to eat cake and ice cream.  I thank God for blessing us 12 years ago.  She adds so much joy to our lives.  Happy Birthday sweet girl! You are my sunshine.
