A quick update I’m finally getting back in the swing of updating my blog. I’ve taken quite a bit of time off from it but just couldn’t find the time to do it before. We celebrated Emily’s 14th birthday while in Alabama at Thousand Trails on Smith Lake. We woke her up with our traditional cupcake with a single candle. She opened her present (make up brush) from Ella Kate. We got dressed and headed out for a big day in Birmingham. First stop was Chick-fil-a for breakfast. Emily wasn’t feeling so well so she wasn’t able to eat her food. Little did we know we would later meet a man that needed that meal.
