Today is a new day! Today as I’m painting the Student Ministry room and praying in my quite time, God is speaking! I’m sure many of you are feeling the uncertainties of our world right now more than ever. I see you moving. I see you standing up for your voice and your beliefs! I see you and I’m with you! No better time than now. It’s a new day. Let’s do something where our voices will be more beneficial.
If I died tomorrow, I probably didn’t make a big impact for this world. You see, that hasn’t been my mission. I pray I’ve made a difference in people. We’re only here for a little while. It’s not worth a day spent in waste. We have work to be done for Christ! I’m reminded of this verse…
“Remind the believers to submit to the government and its officers. They should be obedient, always ready to do what is good. They must not slander anyone and must avoid quarreling. Instead, they should be gentle and show true humility to everyone. Once we, too, were foolish and disobedient. We were misled and became slaves to many lusts and pleasures. Our lives were full of evil and envy, and we hated each other.”
Titus 3:1-3 NLT

So what can we do now? We are here for His purpose. Stay focused. Show Jesus to others through our kindness, don’t just tell them about Him. Rise up! Help the church for a greater purpose. If you don’t have a church, find one. There is no better place to be than within a Bible preaching church. Step up! Volunteer to teach a Women’s class Children, or Youth. Somewhere there has been a gap and all that is happening around us proves that. It’s a new day, let’s make it for the better. – Stephany
