Happy Sweet 16 Emily! I seriously can’t believe you’re 16. We celebrated at Lake Lurleen State Park in Tuscaloosa, AL. You had prepared up to this point for your license but the time came and you were not interested in getting them. I had to really make encourage you take the test. Happy 15th Birthday Emily! You’re 15 and driving! Yikes!! We took you to Sherman to take your driving test and you did great. We were headed back to Gordonville and daddy let you drive Big Bertha once we got closer in. You were slow and cautious. I think you were more nervous than we were, but you did great! All these new adventures in your life are so fun and exciting but can be super scary because with each new adventure means me letting go a little more each time. I love you so much.
