We traveled to Ft. Worth for Em’s 2nd meet. I have to say I enjoy these Saturday’s getting away and enjoying our family time together. We met at 4:00 PM on Jan. 30th. We arrived early to scope it out and enjoy some of the show. Just as last time it was going fast. Em’s nerves were raging, goodness mine were too. Her tummy hurt. Ella Kate finally looses her front tooth! For weeks I have been telling Ella Kate she needed to pull her tooth before she swallowed it. Well today at lunch we were eating hamburgers and Emily asked if she still had her tooth and she said “yes” and went to show her and it was gone. Sure enough it had come out while eating. She found it in her food {gross}. She realized in that moment momma was right. She was so happy she found it, I think she learned her lesson. Crazy girl the other tooth was already coming...
Em had her first competition at the Allen center bright and early on Jan. 23rd at 8:20 AM. We had to arrive at 8 AM to get her checked in and stretched. It was all going so fast. We grabbed our seats and she came out and did her round and it was over in just a few quick minutes. I was so proud of her and the others for just getting out there. I was blessed to spend the day with Mr. Bledsoe and Mrs. Davis and learn how to make his famous cookies. Well at least famous in Howe/Dorchester area. I was given specific instructions and he was very detailed in the process of making them, especially with the eggs. I will forever cherish that day. Share:
