Easter is one of our favorite holidays. I don’t even like calling it a holiday, it is a Celebration of our Risen Lord and Savior! We always celebrate with our Sun Rise Service at church followed by breakfast and a wonderful message of the miracle of Jesus Christ and how He arose on the third day (Matthew 28:6). There is something special about this day that has many racing to church, even if they haven’t been in years! I love that! Oh the joys of waiting for the snow to come! There is so much excitement when you go to bed and wake up to a winter wonderland. We were at the pig show on Wednesday and by the time we left the roads were covered in ice. It was a little tricky getting home. We all went to bed and woke up to pure white fluffy snow covering the ground. We have really enjoyed the snow the snow here in Texas. This time it is fluffy and fun to play in. Well our time has come. It has been fun. It has been a lot of work. I walked away very proud of all the kids. To see them work so hard and do so well. These kids showed up in the freezing, sleeting weather. They were up early to feed and water their animals and had to keep stalls clean, all very challenging.
