We celebrated Emily’s 14th birthday while in Alabama at Thousand Trails on Smith Lake.  We woke her up with our traditional cupcake with a single candle. She opened her present (make up brush) from Ella Kate. We got dressed and headed out for a big day in Birmingham.  First stop was Chick-fil-a for breakfast.  Emily wasn’t feeling so well so she wasn’t able to eat her food.  Little did we know we would later meet a man that needed that meal.
