Hello, hope all of you had a wonderful fourth of July! This year it seemed that we appreciated our freedom somehow a little more. You don’t know what you have until it’s gone. With all the junk that has happened in the last weeks from the gay marriage being passed, removing the Ten Commandments in OK. and now trying to remove the Rebel flag, our country is in a mess. Our freedom is slowly being took away. I want my girls to know our freedom isn’t free. We celebrate to honor those.
We celebrated by letting the girls play in the sprinklers because we had a very beautiful, hot day here in Texas. Then we watched fireworks. After a long day we came home and sat around the fire pit and just enjoyed the crackling of the hot fire and watched the sparks fly.
We always buy glow sticks because fireworks are just a waste of money and let’s face it glow sticks are more fun when you go to bed anyways. The girls made tents with the blankets and sat under them with their glow sticks for hours. They are so fun to hear whispering and giggling. I love my girls and I know I’m going to miss this one day soon.
God Bless the U.S.A.
